However, one band originally from Bethany, CT has managed to stay relevant with video releases and especially with their latest album “Walk with Me”. I’m talking about Creamery Station. “Creamery” as they are affectionately known by their loyal fan base ( or fam base) started work on the album several months ago at Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT. The legandary Vic Steffans known for producing albums such as The Blues Brothers 2000, Christine Ohlman, The Breakfast, and has plenty of RIAA records as a resume was the perfect studio for this album. Vic’s and his staff have been widely known to produce top quality albums for countless acts for decades. There’s a saying in Connecticut, there are many studios but there is only one Legend. Creamery chose the right studio in HMG.

The initial release of Walk with Me came from a video with Track 5 of a song called Fernwood on the Creamery Station youtube channel. That was followed by a fan mash up release of Track 3. Id Be pleased. Cream fans/fam were encouraged to submit their own videos listening to the song I’d be pleased. It was great video work done by both Jon Truelson the bands keyboard player/vocalist and Media specialist of TruMedia. As well as Chris Sidourk the photographer/videographer. You can view these videos on the bands youtube channel at this link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQl09rdQmxKesb3oW5e1J9g

I don’t want to give away the whole album, but I will tell you I preordered it and it’s been a pleasurable listen the past few weeks. Even though I have strong emotional attachment to this band for obvious reasons (I’m retired now so don’t ask) I think the casual listener would still enjoy the overall stories these songs have and their unique sound. A little birdie told me that when Vic Steffans gave some listening room to the songs his response was “I haven’t heard anything like this sound and I think it will do really really well.” However, with the difficult nature of the music business these days, nothing is certain. It will still be a successful album though.

In my opinion the best way to listen to a new CD release is to give it the car ride test. So I decided to make a video of that and I got the ok from Dylan that it isn’t violating any of their licencing by sharing the music through this video. But before I show you the video here’s a quick look at one of, not all, of the inside folds. (To see the rest of album you’ll have to purchase it ).

ALBUM REVIEW – CREAMERY STATION – WALK WITH ME August 6, 2020 Original post: http://livebandstouring.com/2020/08/06/album-review-creamery-station-walk-with-me/ The music business has been extremely difficult to navigate while a global pandemic is still going on.
