University of Rhode Island 4/28/18 – First outdoor show for 2018

00

It’s always a toss of the dice where weather is concerned when you book an outdoor show for April in New England. We lucked out at the Relief Benefit in the Quad at The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI.  It was a gorgeous “shirt sleeves” kind of day with a Jam Stage and EDM stage running simultaneously throughout the afternoon.

  • Woah.. Where do we begin? How about with a huge thanks to Amy Johansson and all of the staff, volunteers, photographers, videographers, vendors, bands, sponsors, and everybody else that took part in throwing such an amazing event?! They did such a great job and it really showed. And of course a thank you to all of you that were there showing your support for this cause; it was truly a humbling experience to see so many people come together to say that enough is enough! Change will only happen when whole communities come together and we saw a glimpse of that this weekend; it was beautiful! Don’t forget to bring that home with you and continue to love and look out for one another. ❤ THIS WEEKEND: Saturday we will be doing a private event, but Sunday we will be down at Blazin Vibes in Milford, CT for a FREE OUTDOOR SHOW (event from 12pm-6pm / we play 4-6pm) with our friends in Not Here and Kazoo Crew Family Band. This is a rescheduled event after the one in April was rained out, so you know we have all been chomping at the bit to play this one for y’all; it’s gonna be a blast! Then after we are done at Blazin’ Vibes we will be headed down to Shelton to celebrate the life of our friend Bryan Wendland, who was unfortunately taken away too early earlier this summer. So if you knew Bryan come on down and show some love for his family! All proceeds go to his daughter. ❤ Photos by Chris Sidoruk Photography and Lisa Ryan
